Network Ethics

What Would You Build? In order to protect the reputation and integrity of our members, the House of Hackers initiative requires the following base line of ethics:

  1. Respect the community and its members. A healthy community is built on the top of mutual respect between its members.
  2. Do not jeopardize the integrity of the community by discussing subjects which could be considered extreme, unethical, against the international law, etc. Think of perception management. It is fine to discuss black arts as long as your intentions are good.
  3. Write in English. It is very interesting to see so many people from so many nationalities. If you speak English, then use it. You will get a lot more input that way.

We hope that by putting this rules on place we wont kill the creativity but promote such and ensure progress and healthy development of this network and its members.
